       I started working with Jeffrey this year. Here is what I can say about him: he is extremely knowledgeable and passionate about what he does. He will meet you where you are at, and push you to reach whatever fitness and health goals you have for yourself. He always explains each exercise and will model the correct way to do it. He is clear, concise, kind, but yet will push you when you need to be pushed. I have worked with other trainers and fitness experts as I am a Varsity coach and none of them come close to impressing me as much as Jeffrey. He is a true professional in his domain and I give him my highest praise and recommendation, and if you allow him to train you I will almost guarantee you will not be disappointed."

       I have been working with Jeffrey for about four months. I was a little hesitant at first because like most women my age (47), I like cake and my couch. A lot. And I fear yoga pants. And how ridiculously less flexible, balanced, and coordinated my once fit and athletic body has become. To be honest, I sort of worried about being the, ‘you’re never going to believe what happened today’ – haha – story over dinner.
       I walked in feeling anxious in my yoga pants and nervous about my lack of skill and in about 13 seconds Jeffrey made me feel relaxed and ready to go. I can’t put my finger on it, but something about his demeanor made me trust him immediately. I love working with Jeffrey. He is patient, kind, motivating, keeps the workouts interesting, and most importantly (to me), he never judges me – even when I judge myself.

       ​In the past 30+ years I have participated in a variety of physical exercise genres from weight training, ballet, yoga, boxing and CrossFit. I have had a great deal of experience working with instructors, coaches and trainers. Therefore I believe I can state with confidence Jeffrey Howard is one of the best trainers I have worked with.
       As I’ve aged I’ve experienced many limitations to what I can do physically. Jeffrey has been extremely sensitive to this and always has alternatives to ‘standard’ movements to assure I get the best workout possible, safely and without injury. Jeffrey is able to do this because of the depth and breadth of his knowledge of anatomy, exercise physiology and nutrition which he constantly seeks to expand. While avoiding injury is always a concern, he is also keenly aware of his client’s abilities. He provides workouts and motivation to keep clients engaged and improving as well as information on the best ways of eating to achieve goals. I have seen Jeffrey work with athletes of widely differing abilities as well.        From elite athletes to beginners of all ages, he is able to bring out the best in all levels. I highly recommend Jeffrey as a caring, expert and inspiring trainer."
