Is CrossFit Sustainable for Beginners?

Is CrossFit sustainable for beginners? The best part about CrossFit is that it is scalable in many ways. That means a few things:
  1. We can scale the amount of days that a newer member comes every week. For example, depending on experience and abilities, a newer member may attend anywhere from one to three days a week in order to recover properly and let the body rest between workouts. As a member feels comfortable, recovered, and safe to build more days into their exercise regimen, they can do so sustainably.
  2. We can scale the exercises and movement patterns. If a certain range of motion is difficult or not achievable for a myriad of reasons, we will differentiate that movement so that the same muscles are used in a different range of motion. 
  3. We can scale the weights, or use no weights at all. Raising a heart rate is definitely possible using light weights or no weights. When a member feels safe and comfortable to add weights, we can do so safely and sustainably. 
So, is CrossFit sustainable for beginners? Absolutely. With your goals, our expert coaches, and a client-focused approach, you can expect to be successful for the long term.
