Lets post this early, since that will follow 22.3's early release theme!

The third workout is a Fran-ish style workout that is made up of three triplets each with double-unders, thrusters, and a version of a kipping exercise from a pull-up bar. Refer to this page to see specific standards for the thruster loads, what counts as a solid rep for all three exercises, as well as other division variations. Be sure to know the rules for video submissions as well.

This is a gas pedal workout for any athlete who has each of these skills. The rep scheme descend for each exercise meaning that middle round will be the most challenging. The double-under volume is relatively low for the skill that it is. All athletes should attempt these if they are going Rx. Really be mind-full and respect the rope so there is no trips.

Athletes who have not developed pull-ups variations this will be very challenging to do the movements in large sets. The load on the barbell will increase each round and will be moderate for most people by the last bar. Choose a version of the workout that allows you to complete this entire workout based on these two exercise. This workout will be a little tricky as the gymnastics movements comes first in this workout when with regular Fran-ish workouts, the weightlifting exercise comes first. Have fun, use the best version for your needs, and get away from that keyboard!

21 pull-ups, chin over the bar
42 double-unders
21 thrusters, weight one
18 chest to bar pull-ups
36 double-unders
18 thrusters, weight two
15 bar muscle-ups
30 double-unders
15 thruster, weight three

W: 65lb - 75lb - 85lb
​M: 95lb - 115lb - 135lb

Scaled

For Time, or as many reps as possible in 12-minutes of:
21 jumping pull-ups
42 single-unders
21 thrusters, weight one
18 pull-ups, chin over bar
36 single-unders
18 thrusters, weight two
15 chest to bar pull-ups
30 single-unders
15 thruster, weight three

W: 45lb - 55lb - 65lb
M: 65lb - 85lb -105lb

Foundations

For time, or as many reps as possible in 12-minutes of:
21 bent over rows
42 jumping jacks
21 thrusters
18 jumping pull-ups, chin over the bar
36 jumping jacks
18 thrusters
15 jumping chest-to-bar pull-ups
30 jumping jacks
15 thruster

W: 35lb
M: 45lb

Athletes at home can use two water jugs or a loaded backpack for thrusters, and please note this is not a valid form of completion for the Open.
